Below are a list of crimes that have been reported to The News of Salem County from the Pennsville Police Department:
On 2/19/14 at approximately 10:50 pm Marie A. Cook (F/46) of Salem was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence. Police stopped the accused vehicle on South Broadway for an equipment violation at which time Cook was suspected of being Under the Influence. Cook was charged and released pending court.
On 2/21/14 at approximately 12:20 am Trisha L. Lyons (F/26) of Vineland was arrested and charged with Possession of CDS (Marijuana). Police conducted a motor vehicle stop for an equipment violation on South Broadway. Further investigation revealed that Lyons was in Possession of suspected marijuana. Lyons was processed and released pending court.
On 2/21/14 at approximately 8:30 pm Christopher A. Robbins (M/36) of Pennsville was arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct. Police were dispatched to the Penn Terrace Apartments in reference to Robbins knocking on an apartment door and acting disorderly. Robbins was processed and released pending court.
On 2/22/14 at approximately 4:05 am Robert W. Brown (M/54) of Salem was arrested and charged with Burglary, Theft, and Criminal Trespassing. Police were dispatched to Calpine Electric, on North Broadway after Security Officers observed a subject walking around the property. Upon Police arrival, Brown was located on DuPont property and placed under arrest. Further investigation revealed that Brown had entered a vehicle on the Calpine property and removed a jacket valued at approximately $300.00 along with a credit card. Brown was processed and remanded to the Salem County Correctional Facility in default of $27,500.00 bail pending court. The property was returned to Calpine.
