Funeral Service will be held 12 Noon on Saturday, February 25th at Daniels & Hutchison Funeral Home, 212 N. Broad St., Middletown, DE. Visitation will be from 10 am – 12 pm. Interment with military honors will follow at Old Drawyers Cemetery, Middletown, DE.

Harvey “Woody” Woodlin, 79, of Middletown, DE passed away suddenly on Sunday, February 19, 2017.

Harvey served proudly in the U.S. Navy as an honorary submariner aboard the USS Batfish. He was a master Mason with the Penns Grove Lodge No. 054, A F and A M of N.J., District 21. He retired from DuPont Chambers Works after 30+ years of service in 1992. After retirement he and his wife Anne, moved to Middletown, DE where he was employed by Daniels & Hutchison Funeral Home for the past 16 years. Harvey loved his work and the many friendships he made along the way. He had a passion for antiques and attending trade shows. He was deeply loved by all who had the opportunity to meet him and will be forever missed.

He was the son of the late Carlton “Mike” and Lola Woodlin of Millville, NJ. Harvey is survived by his loving wife Beverly Anne Woodlin; one brother Ken Woodlin, one sister Lauran Jaeger, daughters Judy Carey and Joanne Emery, son Jay Drummond; 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
