Antonio D’Angelo, 79, of Penns Grove passed away on February 21, 2017. The son of the late Giuseppi and Louisella D’Angelo, Antonio was born and raised in Isernia, Italy. He served his country as a medic in the Italian Army. In 1961 Antonio married Anna and in 1964 he came to the United States, taking residence in Penns Grove. Antonio retired from DuPont Chambers Works where he worked as a mason and pipefitter for 37 years. He enjoyed making wine and growing tomatoes in his garden. But his true joy came from spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren; he loved the family Sunday dinners, going to Cowtown with his grandson Dominic and being with his dog Rocky.

Antonio is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Anna D’Angelo; his sons Mauro and his wife Darci of Glen Rose, TX and Robert and his wife Kirsten of Pedricktown; his daughter-in-law Mary of Pennsville; his grandchildren Dominic, Marisa, Dylan, Tressa, Anna, Tori, Shelby and Mauro; his great grandchildren Collins and Brantley; his brothers Luigi, Cosmo and Rafael; and his sisters Rosado, A’Nina, Maria and Annette. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son Tony.
