Officers search for reported white van after man approaches juvenile on Hancock's Bridge Rd.

White van in question by authorities located & no malicious intent: LAC Police

***UPDATE*** (From LAC Police Department)

The white van, in question, from the incident in Hancocks Bridge on 2/14/17 has been located and the occupants have been identified. It was with tremendous support from the community that the investigation was able to be concluded in such a short period of time.

We are overjoyed to report that there was no malicious intent in yesterday’s incident. However, it was completely appropriate for the juvenile to have felt frightened.

The investigation was a joint effort by members of the Lower Alloways Creek Police Department and Salem County Prosecutor’s Office.

Again, we would like to thank and commend the efforts of the community who greatly assisted in the gathering of critical information.
