Last week (January 23-28, 2017) was the Great Kindness Challenge for over 10 million students in over 15,000 schools throughout 90 countries!

Students in Mrs. Smith’s class at Valley Park School invited officers to thank them for their service within the community. The students prepared thank you notes and a special treat for several Pennsville Police Officers in order to show their appreciation and commit an act of kindness during the Great Kindness Challenge Week.

The Pennsville Police Department was very thankful for the students’ delicious treats and the random act of kindness displayed by Mrs. Smith’s class at Valley Park School.
