Ben Franklin Bridge to Pay Tribute to Orlando Victims

The bridge will illuminate in bright rainbow colors to show support for victims and families of the Orlando mass shooting

CAMDEN, NJ – Standing in solidarity with the victims of the Orlando shooting, the Ben Franklin Bridge will illuminate in rainbow colors on Wednesday, June 15 through Saturday, June 18. The bridge joins many other buildings, bridges and iconic structures from around the world in similar tributes to honor the victims from Sunday’s mass shooting at an Orlando nightclub.

In addition to the tribute lighting, the bridge will be lit the following colors on the following evenings in June:

  • June 14 – Red, white and blue to celebrate Flag Day.
  • June 15 through June 18 – Rainbow to honor the victims of the shooting in Orlando
  • June 19 – Blue to celebrate Father’s Day.
  • June 27 through July 4 – Red, white and blue to celebrate Independence Day
