Recent Pennsville Police Activity

Pennsville Twp. – Arrest made in two separate laundry robberies and DUI’s top Pennsville Police log. Read more below:

On 2/21/16 at approximately 7:11 pm Angel M. Mendez (M/48) of Pennsville was arrested and charged with Driving While Under the Influence. Mendez was stopped for a motor vehicle violation and suspected of being under the influence. Mendez was processed and released pending court.

>On 2/20/16 at approximately 12:33 am Melissa A. Menz (F/46) of Pennsville was arrested and charged with Driving While Under the Influence. Mendez was stopped on North Broadway for a speeding violation and suspected of being under the influence. Menz was processed and released pending court.

On 2/20/16 at approximately 1:41 am Baseemah J. Walls (M/32) of Salem was arrested and charged with Driving While Under the Influence. Walls was stopped on North Broadway after police received a complaint of erratic driving. Walls was processed and released pending court.

On 2/19/16 at approximately 1:00 pm Joseph C. Cameron Sr., of Pennsville was arrested and charged with Burglary, Theft and Criminal Mischief. It was ascertained that Cameron entered the Central Park Laundromat and forced his way into the office and removed U.S. Currency. Cameron was also charged with Disorderly Persons following a call from Towne Cleaners advising that Cameron entered the business and acted disorderly. Pending Court.

On 2/19/16 at approximately 10:26 am police were dispatched to a residence on Eaton Road for a Burglary and Theft complaint. Upon arrival it was ascertained that an unknown accused entered the residence and removed numerous items valued at approximately $220.00. Pending Investigation.

On 2/16/16 at approximately 9:45 am Lawanda S. Moore (F/37) of Pennsville was arrested and charged with Interfering With an Officer. Moore was stopped for a motor vehicle violation on North Broadway and provided false information to the officer to avoid being arrested. Moore was also issued traffic citations for Driving While Suspended, Using License Plates from Another Vehicle, No Insurance, and Operating and Unregistered Vehicle. Pending court.
