Pennsville Twp.- Theft of firewood, drug possession, and shoplifting tops off recent Pennsville Police activity. See more below:
On 9/10/15 at approximately 12:30 am Dominic W. Hines (M/44) of Carneys Point was arrested and charged with Theft. Police observed Hines pulled over in front of a residence on North Broadway loading fire wood into his vehicle. Further investigation revealed that Hines was not going to pay for the wood which was valued at approximately $50.00. Hines was processed and released pending court.
On 9/8/15 at approximately 1:39 pm Raven D. Jacquet (F/20) of Millville was arrested and charged with providing false information to a police officer. Jacquet was stopped in Industrial Park Road for a motor vehicle violation. Mourning the stop, Jacquet could not provide identification. She then proceeded to give the officer a fictitious name. The officer was able to identify the accused and subsequently discovered she was wanted out of Camden County. Jacquet was processed and turned over to the Camden County Corrections. Pending court.
On 9/5/15 at approximately 1:07 am Tammy L. Ballantine (F/44) of Deepwater was arrested and charged with Possession of CDS (Crystal Methamphetamine) following a motor vehicle stop on North Broadway. Ballantine was stopped for an outstanding warrant and later discovered to be in possession of the CDS. Ballantine was processed and remanded to the Salem County Correctional Facility. Pending Court.
On 9/4/15 at approximately 10:30 pm Mark T. Handte (M/34) of Deepwater was arrested and charged with Possession of CDS (Prescriptions not in their proper Container),Resisting Arrest and Simple Assault. Officers were dispatched to a residence on Plant Street and discovered an assault had taken place. Handte fled the scene on foot and was later apprehended running through the backyards in the neighborhood. Pending Court.
On 9/4/15 at approximately 8:58 pm Denise Keller (F/26) of Pennsville was arrested and charged with Being Under the Influence of CDS. Police were dispatched to the Walmart parking lot for woman, later identified as Keller, passed out behind the wheel of her vehicle. Keller was unresponsive at which time the EMS arrived and was able to wake her. Keller was processed and released pending court.
On 9/4/15 at approximately 7:55 pm William Dorazio (M/28) of Logan Township was arrested and charged with Shoplifting. Police were contacted by Walmart Security advising of a subject concealing merchandise and attempting to exit the store without paying for same. Dorazio was apprehended and discovered to be in possession of $184.19 worth of merchandise he didn’t pay for upon exiting the store. Dorazio was processed and released pending court.
