2nd Annual Salem County First Responder Appreciation Dinner to be held Oct. 1st

The second annual First Responder Appreciation Dinner is to be held by the Salem County Board of Chosen Freeholders on Thursday Oct. 1st, 2015 at 6:30 p.m. at the Centerton Country Club.

Salem County, NJ – Ben Laury, Deputy Freeholder Director has announced that the Salem County Board of Chosen Freeholders will host the second annual Emergency First Responder Appreciation Dinner. Ben Laury, Deputy Freeholder Director stated, “Our first responders in every discipline are the backbone of our emergency response services. They are within reach during one’s greatest time of need. Gratitude is what comes to mind when we think of those who serve in this capacity and each and every emergency responder deserves this recognition for their dedicated service.”

The second annual dinner will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2015, 6:30 p.m., at the Centerton Country Club.  There will be 175 free seats offered to the emergency first responders who RSVP.  After those seats have been reserved the remaining first responders, as well as, any family member may attend by purchasing a ticket for $21.RSVP is required to attend.

The event is made possible through the generous donations of our corporate sponsors: Atlantic City Electric, Mannington Mills, PSEG, and Chemours. The planning subcommittee is accepting door prize donations to be given out that evening as they recognize there are business owners and residents who appreciate the service they provide and look for opportunities to show their appreciation.

We have the finest men and women who respond to emergencies without hesitation. They serve because it is their passion and they have the heart of helping others.” stated Julie Acton, Freeholder Director.
