Pennsville Police arrest man after called to residence for alleged assault with a knife

Pennsville – A 29-year-old male was arrested last night after Pennsville Police were dispatched for a residence on Charles Place for an assault with a knife. A female victim had an injury to her arm and was released after treatment. Frank W. Hymer of Pennsville was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault, Terroristic Threats, Possession of a Weapon for Unlawful Purpose and Simple Assault.

On 3/3/15 at approximately 6:08 pm Frank W. Hymer (M/29) of Pennsville was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault, Terroristic Threats, Possession of a Weapon for Unlawful Purpose and Simple Assault.  Police Officers were dispatched to a residence on Charles Place for an assault with a knife.  Upon arrival, Hymer was ordered to exit the residence and secured for further investigation.   The female victim was located in the residence and an injury to her arm was discovered.  Hymer was placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters.  The female victim was treated and released.  Hymer was remanded to the Salem County Correctional Facility in default of $25,000.00 bail.
