Warrants, DUI’s top Carneys Point Police activity

Carneys Point – On August 22, 2014 at 12:05 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Antwan Cannon, 30 years of age from Clementon, was arrested for driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. Cannon was also found to have an outstanding warrant for his arrest out of the Camden City Municipal Court. Cannon was transported to headquarters, processed, assigned a new court date from Camden City Municipal Court and released per “John’s Law” guidelines.

On August 22, 2014 at 2:21 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Asia Jones, 26 years of age from Elmer, was found to have an outstanding warrant for her arrest out of the Pilesgrove Municipal Court. Loretta Hazelton, 26 years of age from Glassboro, was found to have outstanding warrants for her arrest out of the East Greenwich Municipal Court, Middle Township Municipal Court and Woodbury Municipal Court. Jones and Hazelton were transported to headquarters, processed and lodged in the Salem County Correctional Facility.

On August 23, 2014 at 1:40 AM, officers were dispatched to Shell Road for a motor vehicle accident. Upon arrival, it was discovered that one of the vehicles, a pickup truck bearing Pennsylvania registration, fled the scene prior to officers’ arrival. The pickup truck could not be located.

On August 23, 2014 at 8:11 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Nyeisha Blake, 18 years of age from Salem, was found to have an outstanding warrant for her arrest out of the Salem City Municipal Court. Blake was transported to headquarters, processed and lodged in the Salem County Correctional Facility.

On August 23, 2014 at 1:58 PM, officers were dispatched to Shell Road for a motor vehicle accident.

On August 23, 2014 at 10:00 PM, officers were dispatched to the Budget Inn for a verbal argument in the parking lot. Upon arrival, Joseph Castro, 29 years of age from Pennsville, failed to comply with officers orders and was arrested for the Township Ordinance of frightening of others. Castro was transported to headquarters, processed and released.

On August 24, 2014 at 2:20 PM, officers were dispatched to the Friendship Motor Lodge for the report of a theft. Upon arrival, it was discovered that the victim met an unidentified female the evening before, allowed the female to stay the night with him/her and after dropping the unidentified female off, the victim realized $400 dollars was missing. The unidentified female could not be located.

On August 24, 2014 at 7:50 PM, officers were dispatched to Hawks Bridge Road for a motor vehicle accident.

On August 24, 2014 at 9:09 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Waykeara Ross, 21 years of age from Salem, was found to have an outstanding warrant for her arrest out of the Salem City Municipal Court. Ashley Ortega, 22 years of age from Penns Grove, was found to have an outstanding warrant for her arrest of the Penns Grove Municipal Court. Ross and Ortega were transported to headquarters, processed and released with new court dates.

On August 25, 2014 at 5:02 AM, officers were dispatched to Courses Landing Road for a motor vehicle accident.

On August 25, 2014 at 3:21 PM, officers were dispatched to Shell Road for a motor vehicle accident.

On August 25, 2014 at 4:48 PM, officers were dispatched to Penns Grove Auburn Road for a motor vehicle accident.
