After the week long survey in which we had a total of 623 total survey takers, our survey has concluded that out of these 623 responders 422 said “No” and 201 said “Yes” when asked if they felt safe while in Salem City, New Jersey.
The News of Salem County asked all respondents why they came to Salem City and a couple other opinionated text fields in which they could give their two cents on the issue of crime and public safety within Salem City after recent national headlines for a string of murders of the year and a recent brutal beating caught on tape.
Below are the results to our main question in our survey:
Here are two other graphs that display why the respondents visit Salem City. We broke the results up into two graphs, one being those who answered the main question with “No” and the other “Yes.”
Of. the two above pie graphs there were a total of 511 Responses of 422 respondents for the Pie Graph for Those who Answered “No” for feeling Safe in Salem and the second graph has a total of 247 responses of 201 respondents.
