New Castle, DE—January 13, 2014 —Great news for the doughnut lovers of Delaware! Krispy Kreme Doughnuts has broken ground on a new state-of-the art factory store in New Castle, Delaware. Upon completion later this spring, the full service retailer will stand at 3,400 SF at the former Pizza Hut location, 114 N. DuPont Highway, directly in front of the New Castle Farmers Market.
Once open, the factory store will offer more than a dozen varieties of Krispy Kreme’s one-of-a-kind doughnuts, including the signature Original Glazed®. The nut-free facility will also offer bagels, Krispy Kreme Chillers® and Signature Coffee drinks.
Other features adding to the joy: a full-service drive thru with ample outdoor seating and free Wi-Fi.

The Delaware location is the 5th area opening since 2010. The New Castle location will join the ranks of sister locations in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
