Show us your Ugly Holiday Sweater, Salem County!

The holiday season has officially begun and the shopping and decorating has started. Along with that is the vast array of tacky and ugly holiday sweaters, sweat shirts, jackets and yes, even jammies.

We here at The News of Salem County want to showcase and highlight Salem County’s Ugliest (or tacky) Sweater. This isn’t a contest, the only thing you’ll win is braggin’ rights plus you can share your holiday picture of you and/or your family online with “grandma’s sweaters on” to family and friends!

Please, send us a photo of you or someone in your family/household dressed in an “ugly” sweater or other “tacky” holiday apparel and we’ll share a photo gallery of all of the ones sent in along with names and a description.  Then, we will let you vote for your favorite picture/s and the top three will again be showcased and featured in one of our community holiday articles coming up! Don’t worry, we will make sure to share it all across Facebook as well so if you have a good one of a friend you’d like to surprise… send it in. However, getting their permission first would be morally correct, but it’s all fun and games. (Pictures can be of families and multiple people)

Send your photo to  or send your photo via our Facebook Page via a message. ( Please, be sure to include your name and town in which you reside (if you no longer reside in the County, include your state). Deadline is December 15, 2013. Thanks everyone! We are looking forward to seeing your photos!
