GSSC to host program "Tracing Your Immigrant Ancestors"

The Genealogical Society of Salem County will host a program, “Tracing Your Immigrant Ancestors,” presented by Catherine Medich on Tuesday, October 8th at 7pm at the Friends Village Auditorium in Woodstown. The public is invited to attend this admission-free event.

Have you ever wondered where your ancestors came from? Would you like to trace your family’s journey across the ocean as immigrants to America? Learn how to discover your roots at this informative lecture focusing on immigration in the late 1800s and early 1900s. Catherine Medich, from the New Jersey State Archives, will share research techniques and suggestions that will be helpful to longtime genealogists and beginners alike. Come begin your journey into the past!
