"Paradise Found! Splash Sports Club Opening for the Remainder of Summer 2013"

As the summer season winds down, Splash Swim Center in Pennsville Twp. will be opening to the public. New owners, Matthew and Amy Ford are pleased to announce that the pool is ready and will be open to the public for the first time in a couple years. The first day of operation will be this Saturday, August 24th.

After purchasing the swim center a little over a month ago, the pool’s opening could justifiably be held off till next summer. However, the new owners would rather open the doors now!
The Splash Swim Center will be open this upcoming weekend, next week, and Labor Day Weekend for the rest of summer, 2013. But, they may not be the only days you can enjoy the pool; the Fords want to keep the swim center open during the weekends of September, 2013 (depending on the weather conditions & temperatures).

Located at 118 East Pittsfield Street, the Splash’s hours will be every day from 10:00am to 7:00pm throughout the next two weekends and upcoming week. Splash will be offering a great service for Pennsville Twp. and surrounding areas. Families and people of all ages will have the opportunity to hang out, swim in, and relax by the pool for the remainder of the summer and upcoming the holiday weekend.

With a 20 ft. by 40 ft. kiddie pool to complement the 200,000 gallon main pool, the swim center will have plenty of swimming space for residents across the County. The main pool has two diving boards and ranges from 2 & ½ feet deep to 9 feet deep. The pool is not the only thing to attract local County residents, though. There is plenty of space for families and friends to gather, eat, relax, and more with over seven acres of land (two being wooded next to the pools). Owners, Amy and Matt Ford have some great ideas for the future of the swim center as well. These ideas include community yard sales, batting cages, other sporting opportunities, and a plan in the works for a future indoor center to be able to offer a safe, fun and enjoyable place for the youth of the communities to gather and go to even after school.
Be sure to stop by the swim center this week and on Labor Day weekend, where a grand opening celebration will be held including hot dogs, hamburgers and lots of family fun. Matt and Amy want to give thanks to the many people who have helped get this great community center up and running. Thanks especially, to their family, friends, and The Pennsville National Bank for the great support.
